The Structural Monopoly in justice

In this video, it is analyzed a chapter of my future book called "A Theory of Polycentric Justice".

It argues that the persistent failures of modern legal systems are inherent structural consequences of monopolistic organization rather than minor flaws fixable through reform.

By analyzing the United States legal system through the lens of institutional economics and public choice theory, I point out five specific pathologies—including epistemic opacity and economic exclusion—that naturally arise when justice is centralized and shielded from competition.
